Archaeologist have discovered a cave in Israel. Okay…and? The cave had evidence of humans gathering together for a religious type of gathering. The age is being calculated to be around 37,000 years old.

“Homo sapiens groups assembled at the cave to hold torchlight ceremonies. These were probably inspired by mythological or religious beliefs. Researchers report that this occurred about 37,000 years ago. This date was mentioned on December 9 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
