With the current political state of the world, it is very hard to stop thinking of the future and what may come. Anxiety because of our own thoughts, not based on current traumatic events. Just as well stay out of the past. What has happened can not be changed. Being a survivor of long-term abuse, I have spent a great deal of life living in the past, wishing that I could have handled the whole situation differently. One can not change the past. Being optimistic about the future can help, but if we can just continue in the moment, then before we know it, moments have passed. A great deal of people live in constant anxiety and depression, including myself, I have found this frame of thought has helped me to face current events in a healthy way and be proud of how I handle the uninvited moment. It’s a good question to always ask yourself: What is perfect? Perfect is like beauty. It is in the eye of the beholder. In reality, there is no perfect. There are exercises that can try to help one stay in the moment. Please get professional medical advice before trying methods. Like perfection,so is happiness, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.
Stay kind, and remember to love yourself and your neighbors.
