It is no measure of good health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” Jiddu Krishnamurti

In many years, I have studied Christianity and reading the bible. I thought I knew more than the average Christian and even some Christian clergy. With the internet, there is so much information coming at us at light speed. With all this info, it is hard to find what is truth and correct. A lifetime of not only learning of Christians and their Dogma, the bible. Methodist, Lutheran, Catholicism, Baptist, and even Jehovah’s Witnesses. I have spoken from the pulpit and went door to door telling of the coming of the day of God. I observed that elders and preachers commit unrighteous acts. They acted according to their own convictions and commands from their deity. I left all of it behind while still studying different ideologies and cultures. My goal? I really don’t know if I had a specific goal, maybe more of just wanting an answer.

I know one language, English. With that, it should be common knowledge that the original biblical text was written in Classical Greek. There are some out there that can and have studied many original writings of the antiquity ages. Dr. Carl A. Ruck, professor at the University of Boston, classical studies. Ruck has written several books on drug use in this era. Dr. D.C. Ammon Hillman, philology studies, classical studies. Hillman has also written on drug use in that time and area of the Mediterranean. The other thing that connects both these professors of ancient languages is that they also had studied the well-known “Dead sea “Dead sea scrolls” with both writing afterward on their findings.

In short, both experts state unequivocally,  that the first Christians were a recreational drug/sex cult. Here are both their Wikipedia below.

Dr. Carl A. Ruck

The Apples of Apollo: Pagan and Christian Mysteries of the Eucharist (2001) explores the role that entheogens in general, and Amanita muscaria in particular, played in Greek and biblical mythology and later on in Renaissance painting, most notably in the Isenheim Altarpiece by Matthias Grünewald.

Dr. DC Ammon Hillman

While writing his classics dissertation at UW–Madison, Hillman was forced by his “overly conservative” advisors to delete an entire chapter he wrote on the widespread recreational drug use in the ancient world. This event inspired him to write his first book, The Chemical Muse: Drug Use and the Roots of Western Civilization in 2008. The book describes how Ancient Greeks and Romans used herbal substances for healing and creative purposes.[2][3]

There are a large number of people who pay attention to such internet podcasts that involve religious scripture, specifically the biblical. Here is a great podcast with both Hillman and Ruck, discussing their findings.
