Heroin is a life destroyer. Everyone in that car is affected and its not genetic. A person can become injured or have a chronic pain and can easily obtain heroin like substances from a physician. In nearly 10,000 years of known recorded history no person has ever died from the effects of cannabis. And yet its treated as a substances more dangerous than heroin. You can go into any Walgreens and find a 1000 substances that can end a persons life. This is an unfortunate incident but guaranteed it is not a isolated one. Addiction is actually not out of the norm and there are different levels and so many things to become addicted to, some are harmful to not only the person but also those around them including life, and our immediate ecological systems. Addiction doesn’t have to be drugs or alcohol either, it can be money or oil or even power. In fact our addiction to oil has a way more devastating effect on our society than a persons personal drug addiction just look at the wars, pollution , and health concerns world wide.
